Bandai Namco today announced that Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment will be coming to North America exclusively through PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 4 this summer. The company also announced that Sword Art Online: Lost Song is scheduled to launch at retail stores in North America for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita this fall.
In Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment, players will play as the main character, Kirito, and fight through all the levels of Aincrad to break free from being locked within the virtual game world. Players with save data from the PlayStation Vita version of the game will be pleased to learn that some items from that game will be transferable to the PlayStation 4; additionally DLC from the PlayStation Vita title will be unlockable on the PlayStation 4 at a later date. Sword Art Online: Lost Song is the third Sword Art Online console game adaption featuring a completely original storyline within the succeeding VRMMORPG called ALfheim Online.
Nexon America and Splash Damage’s competitive online shooter, Dirty Bomb, will be made available to the public on June 2nd. To celebrate the game’s open Beta, Nexon America has released the What is Dirty Bomb? video, which gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Dirty Bomb with the developers making the game.
Obsidian Entertainment and My.com today announced that more than one million gamers have signed up to be part of the Early Access Tests for Armored Warfare, the upcoming tank multiplayer action game, which officially commences today.
The First Early access test will be taking place from May 27th to June 3rd, from 8pm – 11pm ET on weekdays and 7pm – midnight ET on weekends.
Frogmind announced today that Badland: Game of the Year Edition is now available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita with full Cross-Buy support, as well as for PC via Steam. The Xbox One version launches this Friday with a Wii U version coming at a later date.
On June 2nd, the third DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be available first on Xbox Live for Xbox One and Xbox 360, with other platforms to follow.
From the famed steps of Parliament in London, to the snowy confines of the Kremlin in Moscow, players will experience a diverse landscape of multiplayer mayhem, including the return of one of the most iconic multiplayer maps in Call of Duty history, “Highrise,” which first debuted in 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, now transported to the year 2054.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Supremacy includes four new multiplayer maps, all featuring the new Exo Grapple mechanic.
The Exo Zombies saga continues in the all-new episode, Carrier. Following the end of the last episode, Infected, Bruce Campbell steps in and joins the cast of John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan, and Jon Bernthal. In Carrier, the four are trapped on an Atlas aircraft carrier. Carrier features advanced new weaponry, enemy Atlas Strike teams, Sentinel support squads, and a host of new zombie enemies.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Supremacy will be available first on Xbox Live for $14.99 on June 2nd. The Supremacy DLC Pack is also included in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s DLC Season Pass.
Paradox Interactive today released Magicka 2 for the PlayStation 4 and PC. Magicka 2 is available to download and play now on both platforms, enabling would-be Wizards everywhere to play alone or in groups through a new adventure with hundreds of spells and zero vampires. The game is available via PlayStation Network and via digital retailers on PC for $14.99, or in a Deluxe Edition for $19.99, at the game’s website.
Double Fine Productions is adding another game to its list of self-published titles. Iron Brigade on PC will now be published under the Double Fine label. The developer has also regained ownership of the intellectual property.
Double Fine is releasing an update to the Steam version of the game. In addition to bug fixes and improvements, the original matchmaking system has been removed and replaced with matchmaking via Steam.
XSEED Games today announced that its over-the-top, supernatural action RPG Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed is now available on PC via team for $29.99, with a 10% discount if purchased during its first week of sale. This PC version includes a “Visual Editor” that allows complete customization of virtually every aspect of the game’s look, enhanced visuals with support for a wide variety of screen resolutions including 1080p HD, and numerous Steam features such as achievements and trading cards.
Already announced for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, indie developers Golden Ruby Games and Ripstone Publishing’s paranormal platformer and party game Extreme Exorcism is now coming to Wii U and PlayStation 3 this year.

Iconic children’s characters Paddington and Garfield arrive this summer on the Nintendo 3DS as French publisher Anuman Interactive and Ravenscourt announced the development of both titles today. The games will be published under the label Kids’ Mania and will be available for $29.99.
In the first of the two games, Paddington Bear arrives in London and tasks players with helping Paddington and the Brown family solve a series of mysteries in order to find explorer Montgomery Hyde. Along the way he interacts with Londoners, works with the police to catch thieves, solves puzzles given by his Aunt Lucy and satisfies his love of marmalade and sandwiches.
In the second of the two titles, the world’s most famous cat, Garfield, hops in the drivers seat alongside well-known characters from the Garfield Show in the racing game Garfield Kart. Supporting up to four players via local multiplayer gameplay, you can race with friends in one of 16 different tracks from Garfield’s world. The game also features single-player racing with four modes – Quick Race, Championship, Time Trial and Daily Challenge.
