Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold Coming August 4th

Atlus has announced that Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight for the Nintendo 3DS will hit retail stores and the Nintendo eShop on August 4th. In addition, Atlus has released a new cooking trailer for the first-person dungeon crawler.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2 Launches on Steam

Idea Factory International announced that Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation is now available for PC via Steam. Normally $29.99, the game will be available at 50% off for the initial launch week.

Corpse Party: Blood Drive and Earth Defense Force 2 Announed for PS Vita

XSEED Games today announced a pair of new franchise installments. Corpse Party: Blood Drive, the final entry in the “Heavenly Host Elementary” chapter of the Corpse Party visual novel-style horror adventure series, is in production for the PlayStation Vita and will be released physically in North America for the first time in the series’ history through a special “Everafter Edition” containing a two-disc compilation of songs from Corpse Party, Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, and Corpse Party: Blood Drive, as well as a “Dying Art” book featuring artwork from throughout the franchise. Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders From Planet Space, an enhanced version of the entry in the Earth Defense Force action series, is also in production for the PlayStation Vita. Both titles are scheduled to release this fall.

Frictional Games has announced a September 22nd launch date for SOMA, the sci-fi horror experience for PC and PlayStation 4. In addition, the newest gameplay trailer has been released.

LEGO Jurassic World Trailer Offers VIP Tour of Park

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a new trailer for LEGO Jurassic World where players are invited to join a VIP tour of LEGO Jurassic World’s state-of-the-art facility and get a glimpse of LEGO dinosaurs like Indominus Rex, Mosasaurus and the Creation Lab.

LEGO Jurassic World will be released on June 12th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PC.

Pre-order on PlayStation Network or Xbox Live before June 12th to get free DLC including:

MonkeyPaw Games and Gaijinworks announced that the grid-based dungeon-crawling RPG, Class of Heroes 2G, will be available on June 2nd for the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Store for $44.99.

Crookz: The Big Heist – Gameplay Trailer

Kalypso Media revealed the first gameplay trailer for Crookz – The Big Heist, the upcoming tactical strategy game set in the 1970’s. Crookz – The Big Heist will be released via retail and digital distribution on August 25th for PC.

Chip’s Challenge 1 & 2 Released

Indie developer Niffler announced that Chip’s Challenge 1 & 2 is now available on PC via Steam, 25 years after Chip’s Challenge 1 was released on Atari Lynx and Windows 3.1.

Subject 13 Released

Microids, in collaboration with Paul Cuisset, creator of Flashback, announced the release of the adventure and puzzle game Subject 13 on PC via Steam and GOG.

Atlus Announces Persona 4: Dance All Night

When the clock strikes Midnight, a whole new kind of battle awaits Persona 4’s Investigaton Team, because that’s when a strange video appears on the internet and the unfortunate people who watched it have gone missing. Investigating the Midnight Stage and rescuing members of pop group Kanamin Kitchen set the scene in Persona 4: Dancing All Night, the upcoming story-driven music game for the PlayStation Vita. Available this fall, P4D will arrive in stores in both a Launch Edition as well as the Persona 4: Dancing All Night “Disco Fever” Edition. This special edition will be available in limited quantities based on pre-orders; the “Disco Fever” Edition will be $99.99 (CAD), and the Launch Edition of P4D will be $59.99 (CAD).

The “Disco Fever” Edition includes:

• Two Discs of Persona 4 Music Remixes: The two-disc CD set is full of original classics including “Pursuing My True Self,” and “Shadow World,”new song arrangements including “Heartbeat, Heartbreak” and “Your Affection,” remixes by artists including Lotus Juice, TK and Yuu Miyake, and completely new songs specifically composed for P4D.
