Path of Exile: The Awakening Coming July 10th

Grinding Gear Games, developer of the action RPG Path of Exile, today announced that their largest expansion to date, ‘The Awakening,’ will launch on July 10th. A new launch trailer with never-before-seen combat footage gives insight into the many new features, items, skills and boss fights.

Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold Demo Coming to eShop on July 14th

Atlus today announced that a demo of its upcoming role-playing game, Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight, will be arriving on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS on July 14th. Players will be able to check out the starting floor of Story Mode before the game releases on August 4th. Demo save data will transfer to the full game.

Jackbox Games Launches Quiplash

Jackbox Games today announced the release of Quiplash. This Kickstarter-funded party game is now available for $9.99 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Quiplash is a party game where up to eight players compete against one another to improvise outrageous responses to open-ended questions like “Something you’d be surprised to see a donkey do” or “Your first decree after being named Supreme Ruler of the Earth.” Then the group gets to vote to determine the best and/or funniest answers. Whoever earns the most votes wins.

Sorcerer King Coming July 16th

Stardock announced today that its new fantasy turn-based strategy game Sorcerer King will release on July 16th for PC.

In the game you play as the leader of a city-state in a world filled with magic generated by the “shards,” but the self-styled Sorcerer King has begun to destroy the shards and use their magic in a quest to become a god. You must build a kingdom and raise a force powerful enough to stop him while at the same time dealing with rival factions who only care about conquering more land and resources for themselves. Time is limited: the Doomsday Counter keeps track of the Sorcerer King’s progress toward godhood. Can you stop him in time?

Neverwinter: Rise of Tiamat Now Available on Xbox One

Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios today announced Neverwinter: Rise of Tiamat is now available on Xbox One. Players may now explore the all-new Well of Dragons adventure zone while battling the harbingers of Tiamat, queen of the dragons, in the first of five free expansions to the free-to-play game at no additional cost.

Releasing alongside this new content are a slate of updates to improve player experience across the board. These include an onscreen mini-map, performance upgrades, adjustments to queuing and more.

Zen Studios Sizes Up Ant-Man for Pinball Table

Zen Studios has revealed its latest pinball collaboration with Marvel, showcasing their upcoming film, Marvel’s Ant-Man. Help Scott Lang, master thief turned Super Hero, as he fights to save the world at a microscopic level. Marvel’s Ant-Man will be available across Zen’s pinball platforms starting on July 14th.

Silence Beta Sign-up Details

Daedalic today released a cinematic trailer for Silence, a 3D adventure game coming for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

J-Stars Victory Vs+ Released

Bandai Namco today announced that J-Stars Victory Vs+ has launched for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. The game features a mix of well-known anime and manga characters from 32 different Shonen Jump and V-Jump franchises including One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball Z, Fist of the North Star, Assassination Classroom, and other popular titles.

Sierra to Release First Chapter of King’s Quest on July 28th

Sierra today revealed that the first chapter of the new King’s Quest – titled King’s Quest: A Knight to Remember – will launch as a digital download on July 28th for $9.99 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, as well as PC. It will arrive on July 29th on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

In addition, Sierra announced that a bundle of all five chapters, including a future bonus playable story epilogue, of the new King’s Quest – named King’s Quest: The Complete Collection – is now available to pre-order on the PlayStation Network and Steam for $39.99. Xbox One pre-orders on the Xbox Games Store will begin on July 7th.
