Indie developer A Crowd of Monsters today announced that the first chapter of Blues and Bullets will be available July 23rd on Steam for $4.99. Blues and Bullets allows you to take the role of the famous Eliot Ness, 20 years after he arrested the notorious criminal Al Capone.
Digital Tribe and Ekuator Games today announced Celestian Tales: Old North, a turn-based role-playing game created in traditional JRPG style. Celestian Tales: Old North allows players to become part of a diverse group of young warriors in training who must learn who they are and where they stand as everyone’s skills are developed to survive the impending war with a dangerous threat from another land.
Celestian Tales: Old North will launch on Steam, Humble Store and other major digital distribution channels for PC.
Hi-Rez Studios today revealed the first details for the SMITE World Championship presented by Xbox One, which will close out Season 2 of SMITE.
From January 7th to January 10th, 2016, teams from North America, Europe, Brazil, Latin America, China, and, for the first time, Oceania (including Australia and New Zealand) will compete for the grand prize and the title of SMITE World Champions at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Ga. The 2016 SWC will feature two tournaments: the SMITE PC World Championship and the SMITE Xbox One Invitational.
The SMITE Xbox One Invitational will bring together four top teams from SMITE’s new Xbox One competitive scene, competing for a total prize pool of $150,000.
Season 2 of SMITE is already well underway on PC. SMITE is currently in open beta on Xbox One, with an official launch slated for later this summer.
Sony Computer Entertainment America today announced the lineup of games for PlayStation Store PLAY 2015, its annual summer program featuring brand new game launches and special offers. PLAY returns July 14th when this year’s lineup – Journey, N++, GALAK-Z and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture – becomes available for pre-order on PlayStation Store. PlayStation Plus members who pre-order PLAY 2015 titles will receive a 20% discount.
This year’s PLAY lineup features four digital titles launching over the next four weeks on the PlayStation 4. PLAY 2015 kicks off with Journey launching on July 21st, followed by N++ (July 28th), GALAK-Z (August 4th) and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture (August 11th).
Users that purchase two or more PLAY 2015 titles from July 14th through August 18th will receive a coupon code redeemable for a 10% in-cart discount on eligible items on PS Store.

Zen Studios has released an all-new trailer for Marvel’s Ant-Man Pinball, a new table coming to Zen Studios’ pinball platforms later this week.
On the Marvel’s Ant-Man table, players will experience the action of the upcoming Marvel Studios film as they’ll engage in combat with Yellowjacket in a multiball fight, duke it out as shrunken Ant-Man, help Hope Van Dyne train Scott Lang, and have an active role in side stories featuring Ant-Man and his friends.
Ubisoft presents a new Assassin’s Creed Syndicated animated short from director F. Gary Grey and comic book artist Pop Mhan. This animated short follows the story of the Industrial Revolution in London, 1868 and the birth of organized crime, led by Assassin’s Creed Syndicate protagonist, Jacob Frye and his sister, Evie.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will be available on October 23rd for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version will be available this fall.
Activision has shared a new gameplay trailer for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5. Backed with punk band Plague Vendor’s track “Black Sap Scriptures,” the video shows skateboarding pros and hidden characters, classic trick combos in brand-new levels, and tons of skaters ripping together. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is expected to arrive on September 29th for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
