Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios today announced a new update coming to Neverwinter that will bring four different expansions – Elemental Evil, Fury of the Feywild, Shadowmantle and Curse of Icewind Dale – to Xbox One in September.
The newest update, titled Neverwinter: Elemental Evil, will bring an increase to level cap, the Oathbound playable class and new adventure zones. Adventurers will also gain access to four end-game campaigns and additional in-game dungeons for veteran Xbox One players looking to collect more loot as they adventure through the Forgotten Realms. In addition to new content, this update will also continue to bring quality-of-life improvements to the MMORPG.
Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight, the first-person dungeon crawling RPG from Atlus is now available in stores and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS. A remake of the original Etrian Odyssey 2, this Untold version adds a brand new, voiced Story Mode with a set party of characters in addition to the traditional Classic Mode, with 13 different character classes. As an added bonus, Atlus will have more than $13 of downloadable content offered for free over a limited time as it rolls out over the next several weeks.
ASTRO Gaming today announced the upcoming release of a special Halo 5: Guardians Edition A40+MixAmp M80 gaming headset. Officially licensed for the Xbox One, the new ASTRO A40+MixAmp M80 Halo 5: Guardians Edition features a custom dark chrome matte finish with metallic blue accents and a Halo-inspired graphical treatment.
In addition, the ASTRO A40+MixAmp M80 Halo 5: Guardians Edition will include a special downloadable in-game REQ Pack for Halo 5: Guardians on Xbox One which features a special ASTRO Gaming in-game emblem. REQ Packs are a bundle of random, digital goods in the form of unlockable weapons and armors, skins, vehicles and more that players can use in the Arena and Warzone multiplayer modes.
The ASTRO A40+MixAmp M80 Halo 5: Guardians Edition will officially release in September, but is available now for pre-order at select retailers nationwide and directly from ASTRO Gaming for $220 USD.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Avalanche Studios today released the Mad Max Stronghold Trailer giving a glimpse into the various fortified outposts, or strongholds, located throughout the open world of the post-apocalyptic Wasteland.
In the new trailer, Max visits some of the game’s diverse strongholds and encounters a number of intriguing characters, including Jeet, Gutgash, Pink Eye and Deep Friah. In a world where Max faces both his internal and external enemies, these strongholds hold the pieces essential to the puzzle he tries to solve as he prepares to take on merciless Wasteland tyrant, Scrotus.
Mad Max will be released on September 1st for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Idea Factory International announced that Fairy Fencer F is out now on Steam. Boasting 1080p graphics and 60fps, this PC version of the PlayStation 3 game will have a week-long launch sale of 50% off, with the DLC packs “Beginner’s Pack” and “Secrets of Shukesoo’s Tower Pack” available for free.
Daedalic Entertainment presents a new trailer for Skyhill, the rogue-like survival game from Mandragora. The game focuses on entrepreneur Perry Jason, who survived the Third World War in the Skyhill Hotel’s Penthouse Suite, while the rest of the city fell victim to a missile strike that created a mutant apocalypse. Finding his food and supplies almost exhausted, Perry needs to leave the 100-story building to survive this nightmare. He can only achieve his goal if he skillfully budgets food, medicine and other supplies, which he finds in the mutant-infested floors and rooms of the hotel. Skyhill will be released for PC in Q4 2015.

Konami has announced it will release the PC edition of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain alongside the console iterations on September 1st. Pre-orders are available now via Steam, which will include a copy of its prologue, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, absolutely free. All Steam customers will also receive a collector’s video which reveals behind the scenes footage and a unique documentary, in addition to DLC in the form of a ‘Venom Snake’ emblem and Mother Base Staff.
Finnish game developer Frozenbyte today announced that the puzzle-centric platformer, Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power will be out of Early Access and officially released on August 20th. The PC version will be purchasable on Steam, GOG, and Humble for $21.99, and a soundtrack by Ari Pulkkinen is included.
EA Sports today announced the full EA Trax soundtrack for Madden NFL 16, showcasing new music from a multi-genre roster of acts. In addition to new songs from The Weeknd, Yelawolf and Blackberry Smoke, the soundtrack also features world-premieres from new artists Brooke Candy, Jimi Charles Moody, LunchMoney Lewis, Robert DeLong and Youngblood Hawke.
