Starting tomorrow, the Bungie team will begin to roll out all-new information for the upcoming Destiny: The Taken King.
On Wednesday, August 19th at 2:00pm EST, Deej (Bungie Community Manager) will host a livestream straight from the studio with Mark Noseworthy (Executive Producer) and Tyson Green (Senior Design Lead). They’ll be discussing how your Guardian will grow more powerful over the course of their adventures in The Taken King, diving into leveling and light systems, the new and improved Tower, and more.

GungHo Online Entertainment America announced today that the remastered version of Game Arts’ classic JRPG Grandia II has been retitled as Grandia II Anniversary Edition and will launch on PC on August 24th. Based on the original Sega Dreamcast version, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary this month, the remastered version will be available on Steam and GOG.com for limited time sale price of $14.99, a 25% discount from the SRP of $19.99.
In 2K’s second reveal for WWE 2K16’s ongoing Roster 3:16, 19 additional WWE Superstars and Divas have been announced for inclusion in the forthcoming release on October 27th. Runic Games today announced their new project, Hob, a new, original intellectual property for PC and console.
Hob is set on a beautiful and dangerous unknown world, with buzzing life above and the whirrs of mysterious machinery below. The more players delve into the world’s design, the more they uncover a planet in peril. Players must learn to survive, understand their true purpose through acquiring skills, and ultimately transform the nature of the world itself.
Hob is presented without text or dialogue. Narrative is revealed as players explore and interact with their mysterious planet, and the strange life forms that inhabit it.
Xbox has released the official launch trailer for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, featuring the “Mad World” trailer from the original Gears of War re-imagined with all new in-game footage. Paying tribute to the original, the video opens with CG footage from the first Gears and then transitions into in-game footage from Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, which has been completely remastered in 1080p and modernized with 60fps multiplayer.

Ubisoft has partnered with Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, the studio behind “Robot Chicken,” to pull off a first-of-its kind concept for the launch trailer for Toy Soldiers: War Chest, which is now available in two versions, Hall of Fame and standard, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The trailer concept is a hybrid stop-motion, live-action gameplay combo where viewers witness an imagined battle played out in a world where the highly-trained special mission force, code name: G.I. Joe led by Duke and the Masters of the Universe army led by He-Man join newcomers to the toy box Cobra Commander and Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio in an epic battle between nostalgic action figures.
Telltale Games, in collaboration with Gearbox Software and 2K, today announced the release of ‘Escape Plan Bravo,’ the fourth of five episodes for Tales from the Borderlands: A Telltale Games Series.
The episode will be available tomorrow, August 18th on PC from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services, and on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. It will also be available on August 19th on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
