The start of the Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer beta has arrived on PlayStation 4. Beginning today, PS4 owners who obtained a beta access code for the Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer beta will experience Treyarch’s new multiplayer gameplay first hand. New maps, modes, specialists, weapon customizations and more, including gameplay progression and the all-new momentum-based, chained movement system will be available for play through Sunday, August 23rd, with other platforms to follow. Players are encouraged to submit their Beta feedback directly to the studio team. As the Beta continues, the Treyarch blog will provide updates as events unfold.
CD Projekt RED today announced that all 16 free DLCs for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt are now available for download on every platform.

Disney Interactive today released the new trailer which debuted at D23 Expo 2015 for Star Wars Twilight of the Republic, one of three Star Wars Play Sets to be released for Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition, which launches on August 30th. Developed by Ninja Theory, in partnership with Avalanche Software, this Play Set features iconic moments inspired by the original Star Wars trilogy, Episodes I-III.
The Star Wars Twilight of the Republic Play Set will be included in the game’s Starter Pack and lets players embark on an intergalactic adventure with Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his trusty Padawan Ahsoka Tano to uncover secret plots, defeat villains and bring peace back to the galaxy. Featuring an original story set in the Episodes I-III timeline, players will travel through four iconic locations, use the Force and Lightsabers in epic battles, and master their combat skills.
The Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition Starter Pack will include the Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition Base and video game, the Star Wars Twilight of the Republic Play Set, Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker character figures, and a web code card that unlocks content for PC and mobile devices.
In a new video featuring Scooby-Doo and Shaggy, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed today gameplay featuring everyone’s favorite Mystery, Inc. characters in LEGO Dimensions. For the first time in a LEGO videogame, the Scooby-Doo gameplay combines the distinctive, blocky LEGO art style with the cel-shaded look of the original, animated cartoons. The LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack includes a complete, mission-based Scooby-Doo level that Batman, Wyldstyle and Gandalf must traverse in their quest to stop Lord Vortech and save the LEGO Multiverse.
For Scooby-Doo fans that want to customize their LEGO Dimensions experience, it was also announced that a Scooby-Doo Team Pack which includes LEGO Scooby-Doo and LEGO Shaggy minifigures, plus a LEGO Mystery Machine and LEGO Scooby Snack, will be available at the launch of the Starter Pack. Scooby-Doo and Shaggy each have their own abilities and the Mystery Machine and Scooby Snack can be physically built and then rebuilt twice for a total of three different objects that do entirely different things in the digital game. Either character can also unlock the Scooby-Doo Adventure World, an open-world environment which provides additional open world gameplay content separate from the game’s main story which allows players to explore iconic Scooby-Doo locations, race, solve puzzles, and more.

Sierra today launched Velocity 2X, the arcade shooter from indie developer FuturLab, on Xbox One and PC. These new editions of the game feature ranked daily challenge levels plus all of the bonus content contained in the “Critical Urgency” and “Dual Core” DLC from its original release on PlayStation systems.
Velocity 2X is now available as a digital title on Xbox One through the Xbox Games Store and PC via Steam for $19.99.

Sega today announced a limited free trial for Company of Heroes 2: The British Forces from Relic Entertainment which will begin at 1:00pm EST on August 31st and end at 5:00pm EST on September 2nd. During the exclusive Steam trial, which is set to take place just before the final game’s release, up to 55,000 players will get hands-on with the British army. The trial includes access to all the content which includes 15 new units, up to six new commanders (three in the base game and three via the War Spoils loot dropping system) and a total of eight new multiplayer maps as well as the four factions and base commanders from all previous Company of Heroes 2 games.
