Final Fantasy XV – Dawn Trailer 2.0

Square Enix unveiled the Final Fantasy XV “Dawn Trailer 2.0″ at Tokyo Game Show 2015. This is an updated trailer that depicts protagonists Noctis and Luna as they reflect on the tragic events of their respective pasts, which set the stage for the narrative of Final Fantasy XV. Players will catch a glimpse of the fateful duo’s internal strife as Luna struggles against the restrictive imperial hold over Niflheim and Noctis prepares himself for the journey ahead.

Final Fantasy XV will be available in 2016.

DarkScape Launches

Jagex Games Studio, creator of the fantasy MMORPG RuneScape, announced the PC launch of DarkScape, a player versus player sandbox experience set in a shadowy, alternate game universe. DarkScape is entirely free-to-play and includes areas of Gielinor usually reserved for RuneScape members. Featuring a treacherous world divided into low, mid- and high-risk regions, each with their own economy, players will have to decide how deep they travel into DarkScape zones of maximum threat, where valuable resources and high-level content can be claimed.

Karin Joins Street Fighter V Roster

The long-awaited return of one of the most popular Street Fighter characters ever was announced at Tokyo Game Show in Japan. Karin Kanzuki, last appearing in Street Fighter Alpha 3, is officially making her return to the series and has been confirmed for Street Fighter V. The Street Fighter V roster count is now at 12… who will be next?

Also announced today, the Capcom Fighters Network (CFN) has been confirmed as the official community destination that will be integrated into the online infrastructure of Street Fighter V. Fans and players will be able to visit CFN at any time to view player profiles, match statistics, replay videos, as well as register friends and send battle invitations. Players can quickly and easily see where the action is happening via a global “heat map” and stay up to date on the latest game news and tournament information. Additional CFN details and features will be shared in the coming months leading up to the release of Street Fighter V.

Dark Souls III Launches in April 2016

Bandai Namco announced that Dark Souls III, the action role-playing game from Japanese developer FromSoftware, will be available in April 2016 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam. Dark Souls III provides players with an all-new world filled with heinous enemies, hidden secrets, and captivating environments as they search to destroy the awakened Lords of Cinder and discover what has happened to this apocalyptic land.

Imperial City Now Available Across All Platforms

Following a successful launch on PC, Imperial City, the first DLC game pack for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is now available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Imperial City, the heart of the Cyrodiilic Empire, has fallen to Daedric Prince Molag Bal and now all three alliances must battle not only against the Daedric forces, but against each other as well.

Featuring new areas, quests, enemies, and exclusive items, Imperial City adds hours of additional gameplay for players adventuring through Tamriel on their own, in small groups, or with hundreds of others.

Imperial City is included with an active ESO Plus membership or is available for 2,500 crowns via the Crown Store.

Play Beautiful in FIFA 16

With EA Access Play First Trials now underway, only on Xbox One, and the launch of FIFA 16 just days away, EA Sports unveiled a campaign showcasing some of the world’s top athletic talent celebrating the fun, competitive quest for beauty with an operatic ode to football. The campaign kicks off with a two minute video dramatizing the competitive nature of football – Messi vs Agüero; Bryant holding his court; Morgan showing her intensity – and challenging their opponent to Play Beautiful, all to an accompanying over-the-top soundtrack.

Skyshine’s BEDLAM Released

Indie developer Skyshine, in partnership with indie publisher Versus Evil, today announced the launch of Skyshine’s BEDLAM, a rogue-like, turn-based strategy game set in an over the top post-apocalyptic wasteland. The Standard Edition is available for digital download for $19.99 and fans can also pick up the Deluxe Edition, which includes the complete soundtrack by composer Kevin Riepl, for $24.99.
