Nook’s Homes is looking for you! The renowned real estate business is seeking a new designer to help decorate the interior and exterior of villagers’ homes and public facilities in town. Candidates must own a Nintendo 3DS system and the new Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer game and be willing to interact with animals with big personalities who like to wear stylish clothes. The highly coveted position requires a love of designing (obviously!), strong animal skills (no brainer!), a knack for decorating (of course!) and a passion for amiibo cards (they’re cool!). Choice Provisions — formerly known as Gaijin Games, makers of the BIT.TRIP series — announced the launch of Laserlife, available now on PlayStation 4 and Steam for $14.99.
In Laserlife, players assume the role of an unknown entity on a mission to discover the history and legacy of a dead astronaut it discovers in space. This lofty narrative is distilled into rhythm-based gameplay where players guide two lasers through a series of different beats (known as “Memory Molecules”) which are then used to reproduce one of the astronaut’s memories, which players must then explore and discover the meaning of.
Laserlife will be releasing on Xbox One in October.

Activision has released a new behind-the-scenes video for its action-brawler, Transformers: Devastation, featuring exclusive insights from developer PlatinumGames.
In this latest video, PlatinumGames producer Atsushi Kurooka, director Kenji Saito and Activision producer Robert Conkey explore how Transformers: Devastation combines the world of the Transformers Generations story universe with the one-of-a-kind style of PlatinumGames. Capturing the Nlook and feel of the iconic robots in disguise meant recreating little details, like their signature metallic sheen. But it also required nailing the speed and force of their every move, which fit perfectly with PlatinumGames’ flair for big gameplay and visuals.
