CD Projekt RED has released the launch trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Hearts of Stone. Launching October 13th, Hearts of Stone packs over 10 hours of new adventures and introduces new characters, powerful monsters, unique romance, and a brand new storyline shaped by gamer choices. The expansion also introduces a brand new system of Runewords that significantly affects gameplay. Each Runeword will impact a different aspect of in-game mechanics and will allow the players to experiment with various strategies and tactics.

Konami today launches Metal Gear Online, the dedicated, squad-based multiplayer component of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. The PC version remains on course for a January launch.
All console version Metal Gear Online servers are now up and running, and a download patch for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is already available. The online component is visible from the main menu, allowing users to experience multiplayer action within the game’s open world locations.
GameStop, Game UK, EB Games, and Valve today announced dedicated Steam Sections launching this fall in GameStop (USA), Game UK, and EB Games (Canada) stores. The section will feature the Steam Hardware devices launching November 10th (Steam Controller, Steam Link, and Steam Machines) as well as a variety of Steam prepaid cards. Through the holiday season, GameStop, Game UK, and EB Games will be the exclusive non-digital retailer for the Steam Hardware products in their respective territories.
Ubisoft today announced a PC closed beta for The Crew Wild Run, the expansion to the action-driving MMO The Crew, will start on October 15th and last through October 19th.
The closed beta will allow players to participate in “The Summit”, an unofficial gathering of thousands of drivers and mechanics from around the world, taking place in locations all around the USA. It’s an event where car culture is celebrated across a multi-dimensional competition with the widest variety of vehicles, from heavily tuned cars to agile bikes or more exotic concepts. The Summit is the largest challenge in a driving game to date, where players will showcase their talents across a wide range of skillsets and terrains.
During the closed beta players will also have the opportunity to complete PvE and PvP missions to raise their ranking and unlock new features to customize their vehicles. FreeDrive activities will also be playable, as well as speed and skill challenges, stunt competitions with brand new trials created exclusively to fit new vehicles specificities. The beta will also showcase the graphical update that the expansion brings.
The Crew Wild Run expansion will be available for download starting November 17th, as well as in stores in a bundle with the base game called The Crew Wild Run Edition. Owners of The Crew will also have access to the graphic overhaul in a free update.
With just a couple weeks to go until the return of Guitar Hero, Activision is kicking off the launch for Guitar Hero Live with the release of a new live action trailer starring James Franco and Lenny Kravitz. Helmed by director Jonathan Krisel, the “Win the Crowd” spot features the actor and the rock-star going head-to-head to see who truly is the king of the music festival circuit in Guitar Hero Live. The trailer features Kravitz’ hit track “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” which will also be playable in the game.
Guitar Hero Live will be available on October 20th for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, and Wii U.
D3 Go! and Marvel Entertainment announced today that Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in 2015. In Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign, players create a team from a roster of Marvel Super Heroes and embark upon a global journey that features match-3 and story-driven gameplay. Join Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine, Hawkeye, and many more, battling against a host of Super Villains including Venom, Doctor Doom, Magneto, and The Hood in a struggle to obtain and control the ever-mysterious Iso-8.
Players will assemble a squad of three characters with upgradable abilities, choosing from a roster of heroes and villains alike, all to combat a common enemy. With this team-based gameplay comes a new level of strategy and customization, allowing audiences to call upon specific heroes that are best suited for the job and to create an ultimate Marvel dream team as they travel across famous locations and visit familiar faces from the Marvel Universe. For the first time ever in Marvel Puzzle Quest, players will be able to put their squads to the test in both online and local multiplayer.

Bethesda Softworks has released a new trailer and revealed the first details for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited’s upcoming DLC game pack, Orsinium.
Orsinium, the ancestral home of the Orcs, is being rebuilt deep in the Wrothgar Mountains, and King Kurog has sent out a call across Tamriel for intrepid adventurers to assist in its rebirth. The latest DLC game pack for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited takes you to the mountains of Wrothgar, and to the Orc capital itself, to unravel plots and counter-plots, and encounter all-new enemies and allies. Orsinium, ESOTU’s largest game pack to date, features a new zone to explore, new quests and mysteries, a new single-player arena, new public dungeons, and much more.
With well over 20 hours of content, Orsinium will launch on PC on November 2nd, Xbox One on November 17th, and on November 18th for PlayStation 4. Orsinium is included with an active ESO Plus membership or will be available for 3,000 crowns via the ESOTU Crown Store.
PC Players can experience Orsinium later today when the DLC game pack goes up for testing on the ESOTU Public Test Server.
