Deep Silver and inXile today announced that Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut is now available at retail and digitally for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Kalypso Media announced that Grand Ages: Medieval makes its console debut today on the PlayStation 4 as a Special Limited Edition boxed retail edition, with the standard version available digitally via the PlayStation Store.
Disney Interactive and Lucasfilm recently revealed new characters – Poe Dameron and Kylo Ren – playable in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Play Set, the third Star Wars Play Set to be released for Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition. Now available for pre-order, the Play Set pack will include Finn and Rey character figures and will be released on December 18th.
In Star Wars: The Force Awakens Play Set, players will travel to a galaxy far, far away alongside new heroes and old friends in search for a much-needed ally. Playable characters include Finn, a soldier on a path to adventure and danger, and Rey, a true survivor who is resourceful and capable. Both will join Poe Dameron, the trusted pilot of the Resistance who uses his expert flying skills to travel the galaxy, and Kylo Ren, an enforcer for the First Order who terrorizes the galaxy with devious acts.
The Star Wars: The Force Awakens Play Set will be available for $34.99. Poe Dameron and Kylo Ren character figures ($13.99 each) and Star Wars: The Force Awakens themed Power Disc Pack ($9.99) will be sold separately.
Telltale Games and Mojang today released the world premiere episode for Minecraft: Story Mode – A Telltale Games Series.
Episode 1: ‘The Order of the Stone,’ the first of five episodes in the season, is available digitally today on PC from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services, on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One and Xbox 360. The series will also be coming to Wii U and PlayStation Vita.
Minecraft: Story Mode – A Telltale Games Series season pass disc will be available at retail on October 27th. Retail platforms at launch will include Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. The retail edition of Minecraft: Story Mode will ship with the premiere episode on the disc, and will grant access to the subsequent four episodes in the season as they become available to download via online updates.
Nighthawk Interactive, in partnership with developer Croteam and indie publisher Devolver, today announced the retail launch of The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition for PlayStation 4. RedBedlam, in association with Vision Games Publishing, today announced that the FPS game Bedlam, based on a sci-fi novel of the same name by Scottish author Christopher Brookmyre, has released for PlayStation 4 and PC, with the version for Xbox One arriving on October 16th.
Zen Studios catapults players into the spy life with Archer Pinball, the final animated TV series joining the “Balls of Glory” Pinball pack, a new digital pinball collaboration with Fox Digital Entertainment. The “Balls of Glory” Pinball pack will release during the week of October 20th on consoles and PC.
Square Enix and Eidos-Montréal continue to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the release of the original Deus Ex by authorizing a fan-created mod for the first Deus Ex game originally released in 2000. Called ‘Revision’, the mod by Caustic Creative overhauls the environments and soundtrack of the original Deus Ex and is available to download for free today on Steam.
Square Enix today announced that Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below, the action RPG derived from one of Japan’s most popular video game franchises, is now available for the PlayStation 4.
