Nintendo today announced that Yoshi’s Woolly World is launching exclusively for Wii U on October 16th. In his new adventure, a yarn-ified Yoshi must explore a sewing basket’s worth of handcrafted stages created out of yarn, buttons and various fabrics to unravel secrets and tie up enemies. Players who want to share the fun can team up with a friend to take on the adventure together in local multiplayer for the first time in a game starring Yoshi. The game also offers amiibo support for the new Yarn Yoshi amiibo figures and even compatible classic figures from the Super Smash Bros. and Super Mario series.

Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide Studios today unveiled Styx: Shards of Darkness, a sequel to the stealth game Styx: Master of Shadows.
Following the fall of Akenash tower, an extraordinary matter has forced the centuries-old goblin assassin Styx out of hiding to infiltrate Körangar, the city of the Dark Elves. Supposedly impregnable, a diplomatic summit offers Styx a chance at slipping in unnoticed, as he learns that the event is nothing but a mere façade. Moreover, the Elves have joined forces with the Dwarves, and the only thing both races have in common is a mutual hatred of the Goblins.
Styx: Shards of Darkness comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC next year.
