Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign Launches on Consoles

D3 Go! and Marvel Entertainment today announced Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign is now available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3 (Xbox One to be available later this year) for $14.99.

Two DLC packs are also available at $3.99 each. The first pack is called “Science Friction” and revolves around Hulk’s story line with six different episodes available. Players will be able to earn two new characters, Hulk and Punisher. The second pack is called “The Case of the Cold Chimichangas” and this time it’s all about Deadpool. He will have two episodes where he takes on the Marvel Super Heroes and Super Villains. Players will be able to earn two new characters, Deadpool and Doctor Octopus.

MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore Coming October 27th

Nordic Games today announced that MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore will be racing on to PlayStation 4 and PC on October 27th for 29.99. Furthermore, Rainbow Studios is working on the Xbox One version, the release date, however, will be announced in due time.

Tales from the Borderlands – Season Finale Trailer

Telltale Games shares the final trailer for the Tales from the Borderlands series, as it reaches it’s season finale conclusion starting October 20th on PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and October 21st on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

In the final episode of the season, The Vault of the Traveler, all hell breaks loose. Grand Theft Auto Online: Lowriders – Trailer

Rockstar Games has released a new trailer for Grand Theft Auto Online: Lowriders – arriving October 20th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Catch a glimpse of some of the newly customizable vehicles included in this recently-announced addition to GTA Online, as well as a look at Lamar’s grand plans to take on the gangs of Los Santos and conquer the city’s thriving Lowrider scene.

Xanadu Next, Little King’s Story and Senran Kagura Coming to PC

XSEED Games today announced three new legacy titles coming to PC. The Wii title Little King’s Story, and Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus – previously a PlayStation Vita exclusive – will receive high-definition upgrades for their respective PC releases, with the classic Nihon Falcom title Xanadu Next seeing its Western debut to round out a glimpse of what’s in store for 2016.

Dark Souls III Multiplayer Screens

Bandai Namco has released new screenshots highlighting some of the multiplayer systems found in Dark Souls III including:

• Phantoms – Catch glimpses of other online players facing the same challenges and secrets lurking around every corner. Studying them may give you small hints of where to go and what to do next. Players can summon when they use an item called Ember. Using an ember grants players opportunity to temporarily restore the power of the Lord of Cinder to the player character. When the player dies they will lose the power of fire until another ember is consumed.
• Bloodstains – Bloodstains litter the ground and are the sign of another player’s death. Touching them will show you how a player died, providing clues of unseen dangers up ahead.
• Messages – Create messages on the ground to help or hinder player progress, the choice is up to you. Players can read messages left behind throughout the world and rate them “fine” or “foul”. Each time your message is rated your HP is half restored and the message remains in the world for a longer duration of time. Conversely, your message can earn a bad reputation with messages meant to trick other players.
• Co-op Summoning – Players can summon another player into their world for co-op gameplay.
• Dark Spirit Invasions – The Dark Spirit of an online player invades another player’s game and introduces a dangerous enemy into their world.

Dark Souls III will be available in April 2016 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Just Cause 3 Fans Invited to Create Game’s Launch Trailer

With the launch of Just Cause 3 drawing closer, Square Enix is giving fans the opportunity to create their very own trailer. Contestants are asked to create a one-to-two minute trailer that captures all the action, energy and atmosphere of Just Cause 3, with a $5,000 prize package for the winner.

The trailer will be judged across three categories: Best Action, Best Use of Audio and Best Humor. From these categories, one Best Overall Winner will be chosen for the grand prize and their video will become the official Just Cause 3 Launch Trailer.

Contestants may use the video footage in the online Creative Kit provided or shoot something entirely new to enter. Licensed music from Razihel is also provided as a full track or music stems to remix. Participants who don’t have audio editing software can download a fully functional copy of Cakewalk’s SONAR Steam Edition to make tracks for their trailer.

A panel made up of experts from Square Enix and Avalanche Studios will decide on the best entries in each category, who will win prizes featuring the latest 6th generation Intel Core processor, Neat Microphones, KRK Monitors, Cakewalk, TASCAM and Epiphone. The grand $5,000 prize includes an all new 6th generation Intel Core i7 processor-based gaming rig.
