Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series Premieres Today

Telltale Games, along with Marvel Entertainment, today announced that the first of five Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series episodes is now available for $4.99 USD on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

The series will also be available as a special ‘Season Pass Disc’ on May 2nd at retailers nationwide for a MSRP of $29.99 USD. The special ‘Season Pass Disc’ will include Episode One: Tangled Up in Blue, and will grant access to download the subsequent four episodes via online updates as they are released in the coming months of 2017.

Games of Glory Open Beta Begins April 25th

Lightbulb Crew has announced that Games of Glory, the top-down team shooter, will be available in Open Beta through cross-platform play on PlayStation 4 and PC on April 25th. In Games of Glory, players will take control of the galaxy’s greatest gladiators, equip them with weapons and team up with others to compete for Galactic control and power. Games of Glory will be available as a free download through the PlayStation Store and Steam.

Set in a distant future, the Synarch holds absolute power over the universe and uses the Games of Glory gladiator games to resolve conflicts and fight for power across the empire. At the launch of Open Beta, players will be able to choose from 15 unique Clones of interstellar warriors from five distinct classes – tank, support, carry, assassin, scout. Clones can be equipped with more than 50 unique non-character specific weapons including shotguns, sniper rifles, pistols, flamethrowers and rocket launchers which can be upgraded throughout a match.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap – Launch Trailer

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap launches tomorrow, April 18th, and today publisher DotEmu and developer LizardCube have released the game’s final trailer. The trailer showcases the various characters you can play as, the retro/HD feature which allows you to switch in real-time back and forth from the game’s original 8-bit graphics, and the latest addition to the game – Wonder Girl.

New Content for NieR: Automata Announced

Square Enix today announced that new DLC for NieR: Automata is coming soon for the PlayStation 4 and Steam. The DLC set, titled “3C3C1D119440927”, will include three new colosseums to challenge, plus additional sub-quests. Upon completion of these quests, players can earn various rewards, including:

  • Costumes from the previous Japanese release, NieR: Replicant, for androids 2B, 9S and A2
  • Records that add special music tracks to the players’ jukebox
  • New equipment and cosmetic accessories such as hairspray that allows you to change the color of 2B and A2’s hair
  • Masks with unique “on equip” effects
  • Special bullets that change the appearance of enemy bullets

Deathstate: Abyssal Edition Coming to PS4 on April 25th

Deathstate: Abyssal Edition, the single-stick indie bullet hell roguelike shooter RPG from developer Bread Machine Games, is launching on PlayStation 4 on April 25th for $9.99. The Playstation Store will get the upgraded version of the game, containing all of the realms, bosses, relics, secrets and features added since Deathstate’s launch on Steam.
