Iceberg Interactive today announced that it has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Canadian development studio Ashdar Games for their 4X strategy game Stars in Shadow for PC. The game is currently in the later stages of development and is expected to release on Steam and other digital platforms during Q3 2016.
Stars in Shadow is a turn-based 4X space strategy game with a distinctive artistic style. The player competes with alien factions to explore and settle nearby star systems, develop colonies, build fleets to defend against rivals, negotiate with them and conquer them, when necessary. The game is won by unifying the galaxy, either through diplomacy or by force.
Two new races are looking to shake up the galaxy in the next round of Early Access for Master of Orion: the Darloks and the Silicoids. These newcomers aren’t arriving empty handed either; they’re bringing the ways of Espionage with them, revealing Independent Planets, as well as granting a new victory condition: Economic.
To celebrate the launch of The Banner Saga 2 this past week, Stoic and Versus Evil released this The Banner Saga “In Memoriam” trailer during their PAX East panel in Boston. The trailer laments those characters – and, well, other things – lost through the hard choices made in the game. The Banner Saga 2 is now available for PC and will be coming to consoles later on this year.
Bandai Namco today released new information regarding pre-order bundles for PlayStation 4 and Steam. The pre-order bundles will give fans access to both God Eater Resurrection and God Eater 2 Rage Burst, and six exclusive costume DLC including never-before-seen costumes from Tales of Zesteria and Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, as well as manga and anime series, Tokyo Ghoul. God Eater Resurrection will be available digitally for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on June 28th and on Steam on August 30th. God Eater 2 Rage Burst will be available on August 30th for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Bandai Namco today announced that a new costume for One Piece: Burning Blood, Golden Luffy, will be offered exclusively to all the One Piece fans in the Americas.
To get the costume, fans need to register at the One Piece: Burning Blood official website and sign up for the mailing list. Voucher codes will be emailed at a later date that can be redeemed when One Piece: Burning Blood releases on May 31st for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PlayStation Vita, and in June for PC via Steam.
IMGN.PRO and Fool’s Theory have released the first gameplay teaser of the upcoming “thieving, sneaking, fighting” isometric RPG, Seven: The Days Long Gone. Set in the distant post-apocalyptic future where life has sprung again, you’ll play as Teriel, a master thief imprisoned on the island of Peh.
This coming Monday, April 25th, the Gears of War 4 Versus Multiplayer Beta will open up to all Xbox Live Gold members. To get fans ready for the fight, Xbox and The Coalition released a brand-new trailer today showcasing highlights from Gears of War 4’s Versus Multiplayer mode, including the arsenal of new weapons featuring the Buzzkill and Dropshot, which can shoot around and over cover; new abilities like yank and vault kick, part of the new close-cover combat system; and brutal new executions, all running at 60 fps. The trailer is set to the brand-new track “Nobody Speak” from DJ Shadow featuring El-P and Killer Mike from the hip-hop group Run the Jewels.
