Sold Out and Toadman Interactive today announced that a closed alpha test for the upcoming hardcore action-RPG sci-fi shooter Immortal: Unchained will be available to download exclusively on PC in March.
Beginning Thursday, March 8th and running until Monday, March 12th, the closed alpha test will offer PC players the first look at two locations from Immortal: Unchained’s world, while experiencing the game’s combat and tactical gunplay for the very first time. Players will also be invited to share their feedback with the development team to help refine the game.
Those interested in participating in the closed alpha can register for access at ImmortalTheGame.com. Successful applicants will then be contacted with a key to download the closed alpha in the run-up to launch.
In addition to announcing the game’s closed alpha, Sold Out and Toadman Interactive have also released the first gameplay trailer for Immortal: Unchained, showcasing the game’s world and combat.
Immortal: Unchained will be available both digitally and at retail on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in 2018.
Paradox Interactive today announced the arrival of user-created modifications, or “mods,” for Cities: Skylines – Xbox One Edition. Available today as a free addition to the game for all players on Xbox One, a selection of mods originally created by members of the Cities: Skylines community has been personally curated by Paradox Interactive and Tantalus Media and brought to the new platform. These mods allow players to add new building models, unique items, and more to their in-game cities, and try new experiences in Cities: Skylines – Xbox One Edition.The mod content can be accessed through an in-game menu after installing the latest free update to Cities: Skylines – Xbox One Edition.
Marvelous Games today announced that Assault Gunners HD Edition will release on March 20th on PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. Assault Gunners HD Edition will be available in two forms – a Standard Edition for $9.99 and a Complete Set containing all DLD bundled with the base game for $11.99. All DLC will also be available separately for purchase as the Assault Gunners HD Edition Extra Pack for $4.99.
Grinding Gear Games announced today that it will launch a brand-new content update for their online ARPG, Path of Exile. Path of Exile: Bestiary will be available on PC on March 2nd with the Xbox One version following a week after. This update features the new Bestiary Challenge League, in which players compete to hunt and capture nearly 300 of the animals that populate Wraeclast, and then sacrifice their prey to create and augment items.

Scavengers Studio today announced a second Open Beta this weekend for their battle royale game, Darwin Project.
