Atlus has announced that The King of Fighters XIV demo will be available on the PlayStation Store on July 19th. Players will be able to test drive seven characters (Kyo Kusanagi, Mai Shiranui, Iori Yagami, Sylvie Paula Paula, King of Dinosaurs, Shun’ei, and Nelson) before the game launches on August 23rd. While the demo won’t have online functionality, local versus mode will be available. The demo will also come with a free dynamic PS4 theme.
Atlus has also released a new story trailer that’ll give you a little insight to what’s at stake during the tournament, in addition to another trailer that gives a first look at Antonov, the villainous eccentric billionaire/man-mountain who bought the rights to the King of Fighters brand in order to host a new tournament. The self proclaimed “One True King of Fighters” has an array of devastating strikes and bone-crunching grappling that will make him a tough opponent to face.
During an EA Star Wars panel at Star Wars Celebration Europe this past weekend, Warwick Davis sat down with a few of the developers from DICE, BioWare, Visceral Games and Capital Games, alongside Matt Fillbrandt from Lucasfilm to reveal more about the projects the teams at EA are working on now.
Niklas Fegraeus, Design Director of DICE gave fans their first look at the expansion pack, Star Wars Battlefront Death Star. Available for Season Pass owners this September, DICE confirmed there will be combat in space and inside the Death Star, new maps, weapons, star cards and two new heroes, the bounty hunter Bossk and everyone’s favorite co-pilot, Chewbacca.
For Star Wars: The Old Republic, James Ohlen, Director of Design for BioWare helped celebrate the game’s upcoming 5-year anniversary, revealing a brand new digital expansion pack coming this fall, Knights of the Eternal Throne.
And as one last reveal for the crowd, panel attendees learned that the fourth and final expansion pack to Star Wars Battlefront releasing this December will be Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: Scarif. You and your friends will be able to see Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and then continue the battle with heroes from the film this holiday.
Following a panel today with producer Motohide Eshiro at Anime Expo 2016 in Los Angeles, new details have been released revealing more of the quirky characters and gameplay features for the upcoming September release of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice.
Returning series favorite Maya Fey makes her comeback, but all is not as it seems as she is soon directly caught up in a crime drama herself within the Kingdom of Khura’in, where she’s been in training. Having been reunited with her just before the drama ensues, it’s up to Phoenix to demonstrate his skills in the foreign courtroom to try and save his long-time friend and assistant. Will they both make it out alive?
Athena Cykes, who made her debut in the previous installment, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies, is returning to the legal line-up. The rookie attorney will be supporting Apollo and the cast again with her ability to psychoanalyze emotions and help discover the truth behind the emotional cues found in witnesses’ testimony with her Mood Matrix program. Will she uncover new truths and rescue those accused from being sent down for their crimes?
Last but not least, brand new to the series is pious prosecutor Nahyuta Sahdmadhi, a devout monk who can often be heard admonishing his rivals with the Khura’inese phrase “Satorha!” He holds an international license to practice law, which allows him to prosecute both at home in Khura’in and abroad in America. Using his unique religious rituals, Nahyuta seeks justice for the victims of heinous crimes so that their souls may rest in peace.

Bandai Namco shows off more costume DLC for the upcoming God Eater 2: Rage Burst, available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and PC via Steam on August 30th. The newly announced DLC features clothing and accessory options from the Assassination Classroom anime series from FUNimation.
Players who pre-order the Day-One edition of God Eater 2: Rage Burst for the PlayStation 4 at participating retailers will also receive all DLC costumes and a free download code for God Eater: Resurrection. Bandai Namco today revealed the Collector’s Edition for Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, available this fall for the PlayStation 4 with a MSRP of $149.99. Quantities of this special collector’s edition are limited so fans are urged to pre-order the game today to guarantee their copy. Stoic and Versus Evil today announced that Banner Saga 2 officially launched on Xbox One into the Games with Gold! program. As a bonus, Xbox One gamers will all get an exclusive passive ability boost, the Tome of X, a book of catalogued pastimes, competition, puzzles. This item will be automatically unlocked in the game and can be equipped when a player’s character reaches the required level.
Bandai Namco today announced a new entry in the simulation action genre with A.W.: Phoenix Fiesta, coming on July 26th exclusively for the PlayStation Vita via PlayStation Network.
A.W.: Phoenix Festa is based on a Japanese light novel — The Asterisk War: The Academy City on the Water, where in the 20th century a catastrophic event known as the Invertia leads to the destruction of many large cities on Earth. In order to recover from the devastation, the Integrated Enterprise Foundation is formed and cities are reorganized including one city called Rikka, also known as Asterisk. Within Asterisk, six academies hold tournaments called “Festas” pitting students from each academy against each other.
Bandai Namco today announced its collaboration with DJ Steve Aoki to contribute his musical talents to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.
DJ Steve Aoki will remix a selection of famous musical tracks from the Dragon Ball Z universe including fan favorites “Cha-La Head-Cha-La” and “We Gotta Power”. As an additional bonus to this collaboration, DJ Steve Aoki will make his debut appearance in a Dragon Ball videogame when he appears in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as a non-playable-character that players will be able to interact with in the game’s hub city of Conton.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is scheduled to launch on October 25th for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and October 28th for PC via Steam.
