Kalimba Launches on PC, Free DLC Arrives on Xbox One

Press Play and Microsoft Studios today announced that Kalimba, the side-scrolling platformer which launched late last year on Xbox One, is now available on PC via Steam for $9.99. In addition, new DLC and a free update for Xbox One are bringing new content to Kalimba today across both platforms.

Press Play has released two new pieces of DLC for Kalimba on Xbox One and PC: “Dark Void,” which brings 10 new single-player stages to the game, and “Co-Optimistic,” which adds 10 new cooperative levels. Both sets are now available on the Xbox Games Store and Steam for $3.99 each or $5.99 as a bundle. As a bonus, all DLC will be completely free on Xbox One for the first 2 weeks, until May 6th.

Furthermore, Press Play has added two new competitive multiplayer game modes to Kalimba in a free content update out now on Xbox One and PC. Llama Mode lets up to six people compete locally through special speed run challenges. Puma Mode features 30 levels in which players can race asynchronously against the fastest times of their friends or the AI-controlled Hoebear.
