Knockout City is now officially free-to-play with today’s launch of Season 6: City of Tomorrow.

In City of Tomorrow, the Super-Science Symposium, the greatest technological showcase of all time, is back in town and scientists from all over the world are gonna be showing off their wildest inventions. New tech always means new toys for brawlers to throw down with, which means players can expect a whole lot of amazing stuff to come out of this smarty-pants convention, including a new Special Ball, updates to the hideouts, new crew vehicles, a new Brawl Pass featuring an Among Us crossover, new events and more.

Mario Strikers: Battle League First Kick Demo Event

The Mario Strikers: Battle League game launches for the Nintendo Switch on June 10th, and for those looking to get a leg up on the competition, the Mario Strikers: Battle League First Kick demo event is now available to download for free in Nintendo eShop and in the My Nintendo Store, and is open to all Nintendo Switch Online members, as well as anyone using a free Nintendo Switch Online seven-day trial.

The Mario Strikers: Battle League First Kick demo event includes access to online team battles, available June 3-5, plus a training mode and some pre-season “friendlies” to help you prepare for match day. The Mario Strikers: Battle League First Kick demo’s training mode teaches you all of the basics, from shooting, passing and tackles to more advanced moves and skills. Once you’re accustomed to the controls, you’ll be ready to put everything on the line and take on other budding strikers online in team battles at the following times:

June 4, 7-8am ET / 4-5am PT
June 4, 3-4pm ET / 12-1pm PT

Pac-Man Museum+ Available Now on Consoles and PC

Bandai Namco announced the launch of Pac-Man Museum+, bringing together classic and nostalgic titles from the legendary game franchise’s library. The game puts players in a virtual arcade with fourteen different Pac-Man games, from the original Pac-Man and Super Pac-Man to Pac-Man 256, along with a few rare surprises. Pac-Man Museum+ is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, and is playable on Xbox Game Pass. The game is also compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

SD Gundam Battle Alliance Coming to Consoles and PC on August 25th

Bandai Namco has announced SD Gundam Battle Alliance will launch on August 25th. The game is an action RPG that brings together different histories in the Gundam universe, letting players relive famous scenes and battles from the anime series. SD Gundam Battle Alliance will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

New Indie World Showcase Reveals Lineup of Indie Games Headed to Nintendo Switch Soon

In a new Indie World Showcase presentation, Nintendo and its publishing and development partners revealed new details about 20 indie games coming to the Nintendo Switch, including four titles arriving today – Mini Motorways, Soundfall, OPUS: Echo of Starsong – Full Bloom Edition and Gibbon: Beyond the Trees. Highlights of the presentation include a first look at the noir-punk action-adventure Gunbrella from Doinksoft, as well as the debut of Another Crab’s Treasure from Aggro Crab, a soulslike adventure set in a crumbling underwater world plagued by a mysterious curse. Other games featured include ElecHead, a puzzle platformer, and Ooblets, a game about farming and collecting creatures.

During today’s Monster Hunter Digital Event, series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and director Yoshitake Suzuki provided fans with the most in-depth look at Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak yet, including a new trailer and game details. The duo unveiled three additional monsters, the new Switch Skill Swap ability, the new Follower Quests, and more information about the flagship Elder Dragon Malzeno. Finally, they revealed a new Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Nintendo Switch Pro Controller featuring Malzeno which arrives alongside the expansion when it releases for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on June 30th.

Bandai Namco is delving into the LEGO universe to bring LEGO Brawls, a family-friendly brawling game, to consoles. The game puts players in control of customizable minifigures in a multi-player brawler with levels inspired by LEGO sets. Developed by Red Games, LEGO Brawls is slated for release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in late summer 2022.
