EA and LPGA Partner to Bring Women’s Golf to EA Sports PGA Tour

Today, Electronic Arts and the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) announced the next phase of their long-term partnership with plans to bring the LPGA Tour; The Amundi Evian Championship, one of its five major championships; and more female golfers to EA Sports PGA Tour. For the first time, the LPGA Tour will be experienced in high-fidelity on next-generation consoles and will feature a wide breadth of women’s golfing representation. In Spring 2022, all players will be able to tee-off as a female golfer at the truest representation of the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains, France, thanks to the power of EA’s Frostbite game engine.

Recompile to Launch on August 19th

Developer Phigames and publisher Dear Villagers (ScourgeBringer, The Forgotten City) today announced the final release date for their hack’n’shoot ‘em up Recompile. The game will be launching on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X (including Game Pass) on August 19th.

Three Additional Super NES Games Arriving to Nintendo Switch Online

On July 28th, sparks are sure to fly when three additional Super NES games join the Nintendo Switch Online service.

With enough skill, a pack of plucky animal pals will become putty in your hands when Claymates arrives to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online library. Also joining the Super NES library is Jelly Boy, a puzzle-platformer which originally launched exclusively in Europe, and will now be available for the first time in the U.S. Rounding out this month’s upcoming batch of games is Bombuzal, a strategic puzzle game with a few twists.

Hunt: Showdown’s New Map, DeSalle, Is Available On PC Today

Hunt: Showdown’s brand-new map, DeSalle, is officially available on PC as of today – and on Xbox and PlayStation platforms in early August – following a soft launch on the test servers. The map brings a new setting to the game, giving players 16 new compounds to explore. DeSalle joins the other maps of Stillwater Bayou and Lawson Delta.

Amazon Games Launches New World Closed Beta

New World, the upcoming MMO PC game from Amazon Games, is entering Closed Beta today. The Beta test will run until August 2nd, giving players a chance to explore the mysterious island of Aeternum ahead of the game’s August 31st launch. New World’s closed beta is open to all players who have pre-ordered the game. Pre-orders are available for purchase on Amazon.com or the Steam Store. Players can also sign up here for a chance to be randomly selected to join the closed beta test.

First Reveal of All-New NBA 2K22 Features

New Back 4 Blood Trailer Details PC Features

Warner Bros. Games and Turtle Rock Studios today revealed a new Back 4 Blood trailer showing off the co-op zombie shooter’s Ridden-slaying action running on PC. The new video highlights several features coming to the PC version of the game at launch, including 4K resolution, uncapped framerate, NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), ultrawide and multi-monitor support, cross-play, and various other graphics and visual quality options. Back 4 Blood will be available for PC via the Microsoft Store, Steam and Epic Games Store on October 12th.

Death’s Door Opens on Xbox One, Series X|S, and PC Today
