Samurai places you in the shoes of a master samurai on his quest to recover a sacred sword. In a story-driven narrative, the quest will take the game’s hero through six levels with boss encounters promised in each one. Features like automatic save and resume should allow even casual gamers to pick up the game and play.
To aid the hero in his quest, the developers of Samurai have put in eight different martial arts moves that you can execute to get kills. In addition, there will be weapons that you can pick up and power-up items that can be collected throughout the game. Altogether, Samurai promises one to two hours worth of gameplay time.
Samurai promises to provide some beat-em-up action at its finest. JAMDAT’s Samurai features noticeably larger characters that are capable of more intricate animations. In addition, vibrant colors bring the action and the setting to life. JAMDAT is known for producing some quality action titles on wireless but Samurai looks like a game that will set 2005’s trend in terms of visuals.
