Activision and High Moon Studios today announced the first DLC for Transformers: War for Cybertron. Set to launch next week for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, the Transformers: War for Cybertron Map and Character Pack will include the following:

• Two brand new characters: Scattershot and Onslaught, whose named characters will be playable in Escalation mode and chassis will be accessible in traditional multiplayer
• Three previous retailer-exclusive characters: Shockwave, Demolisher and Jazz, playable in the aforementioned modes
• Four brand new maps:
  • Escalation maps District and Forsaken
  • Multiplayer maps Havok and Fortress
