Dark Souls Screens
Namco Bandai has released new screenshots from Dark Souls, providing a glimpse at new areas, enemies and characters in the game. In addition, there is a new screenshot of the “Beacon Fire,” a significant new gameplay feature. The warm light of the Beacon Fire serves as a safe haven that offers players respite in the otherwise cold, dark and dangerous game world. The Beacon Fire embodies a number of key functions: healing and recovery point, restart check point, and a sharing point where other players on similar journeys can be seen as shadows. Dark Souls will be available later this year on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
