At the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival in Frankfurt, Germany, Square Enix revealed that players of the MMORPG will not only join the resistance and fight for the liberation of Ala Mhigo, but will also be travelling to Doma and its surrounding areas in the title’s second expansion, Stormblood. This Far-Eastern nation has often been intertwined within the Final Fantasy XIV storyline, and players will now have the chance to depart the shores of Eorzea and explore an entirely new region within the world of Hydaelyn.

Koei Tecmo today announced that Berserk and the Bank of the Hawk, developer Omega Force’s most brutal Warriors style title to date, is now available for the PlayStation 4, digitally on the PlayStation Vita, and on PC via Steam. Those who purchase the title through Steam within its first week of launch will receive a 10% early-purchase discount alongside a selection of pre-order costumes. Based on the manga and anime series Berserk by Kentarou Miura, Berserk and the Band of the Hawk closely follows the events of the story arcs from the manga’s narrative, focusing on the adventure of Guts, Casca, the Band of the Hawk, and Guts’ Traveling Party throughout their perilous conquest against a sinister realm of demonic fiends.
Capcom today launched Resident Evil 7 biohazard DLC Banned Footage Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 on Xbox One and PC, with Windows 10 coming soon. Banned Footage Vol. 1 is available for $9.99, while Banned Footage Vol. 2 is available for $14.99. Both volumes will also be readily available for players who have purchased either the Deluxe Edition or Season Pass. Each pack includes two banned footage scenarios and an extra mode: Vol. 1 includes “Nightmare,” “Bedroom” and “Ethan Must Die”, while Vol. 2 includes “Daughters”, “21,” and “Jack’s 55th Birthday”. All Banned Footage DLC is also available to download on PlayStation 4.

DotEmu today announced that Ys Origin is now available digitally on the PlayStation 4 for $19.99. Initially released in Japan in 2006, Ys Origin has been enhanced with brand-new features while keeping true to the original spirit of the series.
Bandai Namco today announced that the tactical role-playing game Chroma Squad, inspired by Saban’s Power Rangers, will launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in May.
In Chroma Squad, players take control of five high-flying stunt actors who decide to quit their day jobs and create their own Power Rangers TV show.
Chroma Squad is also currently available for PC via Steam. With the game’s spring release, Bandai Namco confirms that these platforms, and Steam, will be the featured platforms for Chroma Squad and the game will no longer be available for the PlayStation Vita.
At their annual press event, NIS America announced that Disgaea 5 Complete will be arriving to the Nintendo Switch on May 23rd as a physical and digital release. The game includes all 8 bonus scenarios, 4 fan-favorite characters, and 3 character classes that were originally DLC in the PlayStation 4 release of Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance.
