Earth Defense Force 5 to Deploy on PlayStation 4 in 2018

D3 Publisher has announced that the latest title in the Earth Defense Force series, Earth Defense Force 5, will release for western markets this fall. Following a successful launch in Japan, Earth Defense Force 5 finds players taking up arms to defend Earth against a hostile alien invasion. In addition to hordes of alien insect invaders the series is famous for, the next installment in the franchise also introduces a series-first with new humanoid aliens from the mysterious planet, Primer.
