30th Game Developers Conference Opens Today

The 30th Game Developers Conference begins today alongside the inaugural Virtual Reality Developers Conference at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, California.

The 30th edition of GDC is home to five days of panels, tutorials, roundtable discussions, and networking events, over 650 lectures on diverse game industry topics, an expo floor and the ceremonies for Independent Games Festival Awards and Game Developers Choice Awards, which honor the year’s most promising developers and games.

The inaugural VRDC will run through March 15th and offers professionals working in the fields of virtual reality and augmented reality two days of content showcasing some of the most groundbreaking and respected developers and development teams in the fields of VR and AR in both the gaming and entertainment fields.
