3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sega Hardware Themes Now Available for 3DS

Sega today announced that 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is the latest Sega Genesis classic now available for digital download via the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS for $5.99.

Today also marks the launch of the Sega hardware Nintendo 3DS themes, with the Sega Genesis and Sega Game Gear hardware themes being the first available. Featuring imagery and sounds of the systems, now anyone can adorn their Nintendo 3DS with their Sega console of choice. In addition, the following hardware themes will be released in the coming month (this list corresponds to the release order as well):

• Sega Master System
• Sega Mark III
• Sega Saturn
• Hi-Tech Sega (80s style Japanese arcade machine)
• Sega SG-1000
• Sega Dreamcast

The hardware themes will be available for $1.99 each and the Sega Genesis and Sega Game Gear themes are now available in the Nintendo 3DS Theme store.
